About this deal

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. With the LEGO® Creator Expert branding replaced with 18+ sub-collections, the standard Creator theme has also seen a small change. We asked them to give us their thoughts on the sets and share some insights into how they went about photographing them. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

The rear bench seat is a flat plate without studs, so the passengers have to hold on for their life – just like reality sometimes! No minifigures are included in the set, but the scale is appropriate and it is built to accommodate them. Some of you may know me from other LEGO sites so you'll know I have a good experience of the LEGO community and a deep, passionate commitment to all things LEGO. The Tuk Tuk is an odd little vehicle, there have been a couple of LEGO versions appear in a couple of sets, namely from Monkie Kid and The LEGO NINJAGO Movie themes.

I'm not sure why this can't be minifig scale, when vehicles like the City ice cream truck and pizza van are about twice the height of a minifig. What I dislike in regards to this set is it’s smaller scale makes it look odd next to other vehicles. I know tuk tuks and auto rickshaws are the same vehicles, but I've never seen anyone refer to this vehicle as a tuk tuk in India.

Yeah it looks nice, but I think it looks a bit too big for the minifig scale (even though "minifig scale" is a vague and inconsistent concept). This vehicle would be perfect for a minifigure travelling photographer or to enhance a Ninjago city. It features a host of realistic details including front and back seats, hanging decorations, a fire extinguisher and Indian-style lunchboxes in a pallet on the roof, so kids have all they need to create fantastic stories. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. Brickset, the Brickset logo and all content not covered by The LEGO Group's copyright is, unless otherwise stated, ©1997-2024 Brickset ltd. There are some nice details in the build like the exhaust pipe, a fire extinguisher and some hanging ornaments which help the model come to life.

To add some dynamism to the pictures I took at the main train station I used a neutral density filter to take long exposure pictures during the day.Bit what tipped it over the edge were the two studs on the driver’s seat – perfect for a minifigure to sit on. There isn’t much to dislike about this vehicle, except maybe the fact that I don’t actually have a Ninjago city to put it in. The build is very solid (except maybe for the side mirrors) and a very good play model for younger builders.

Similar to the mini LEGO London Bus, there are a couple of new sets based on regional transportation.

Later I watched some reviews on YouTube of the set (watching reviews of a set after I’ve already purchased it, defeats the purpose… I know). Otoh, a friend of ours from Liverpool has told us many colorful stories about the adventures he has had while riding in Tuk Tuks in Thailand and Malaysia over the years.
