About this deal

Just look at the X-Tx lineup, Canon R5, Sony RX100s, Nikon Z30, I'm not even going to list all the a7 models that overheat. The X100V is (predictably) the best X100 yet, and frankly, leads its market segment in terms of overall capability. The x70 was truly compact which featuring many of the feature of the x100v, but in a more svelte package and a bit less poseur. Additionally, image makers can also incorporate numerous shooting functions, such as “monochromatic Colour” and “Colour Chrome Effect” to extend their creative visions directly to the footage being recorded.

Or for situations where subtlety is key and just looking like you have a crappy film camera is an advantage such as at birthday parties and near military installations. This is a camera for people who know how to hold their cameras, and better than LEICA, there is no vibration, so no problem. X-E4 is NOT weather sealed, the X100V on the other hand CAN be made weather sealed with the optional ring adapter and filter. I have bodies with IBS and without, I hardly ever use IBS unless I am shooting handheld at night which is very rare. Sony is bringing a shutter angle setting to its two more affordable alpha-branded Cinema Line cameras, the FX3 and FX30, with a firmware update. The X100V comes with some significant changes, but still follows the basic formula its predecessors have followed for the last decade. The new OLED finder saves power over the LCD finder of the X100F: now rated 350/420 shots EVF/OVF versus the 270/390 shots of the X100F. The back of the body offers a small selection of buttons, a focus point joystick, and a tilting touchscreen. For over a decade now, they've been slowly iterating and improving upon what was already a pretty good base.

The x-trans III would have been a better sensor, as it has better colours, the more neutral colours of the x-trans IV are more suited for primarily RAW shooters. Even with COLOR turned up all the way as for all these images, the X100 V's rendering is much quieter than I prefer for most of my images. In both modes you get exposure information shown around the edges of your view, which can be turned on or off using the ‘disp/back’ button. The fifth iteration in Fujifilm’s X100 Series, the X100V is a significant upgrade over previous models and features a newly designed 23mmF2 lens, improvements to its Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder, weather resistance, and a new tilting rear LCD monitor among a host of other updates. If I switch to JPEG then that difference becomes even more pronounced although I'm going to guess that there might be in-camera sharpening or contrast/brightness going on that might cause that difference. The fact that the noise is mainly luminance and no random spots of color helps the fact tremendously. I'm not one to defend this camera like a fan boy (because I aint) but you bought the wrong camera for how you use it.
